Emmaus is a unique experience for each person who attends. The Walk to Emmaus consists of:
Spending 72 hours in a retreat setting and away from the everyday distractions of your life.
Listening and responding to 15 talks given by lay people and ministers
Though supported by the Methodist Church and Upper Room, the walk is non-denominational in every respect.
You are not expected to respond to the Walk in any given manner. It is a unique experience and is between you and God.
The Walk is not for the solving of problems in one's life nor will it change any circumstances involved in an individual's life.
The purpose of the Walk is to raise up church leaders in one's own church. Emmaus is not one's new religion or church.
If you are interested in making the Walk, please contact us and we will talk with you and answer any questions you might have. Remember that we are the only hands the God has in the world. Also remember, the hands that washed the feet of Judas formed the world.
